Employers

We are here to assist in finding and attracting the best talent for your organisation. Help us to this more effectively by being thorough when compiling a job brief. Think it through carefully. Here are some guidelines:

At ITO, we appreciate a thorough brief however we also prefer to meet with you in order to gauge a sound understanding of your needs, requirements and company culture.  Hence, we are more equipped to find you the perfect candidate.

Recruiting Permanent Staff

If an employer requests us to find a permanent employee on their behalf, simply invoice the employer on the date that the employee commences employment.  We offer a 3 month guarantee on permanent placements. See our terms of service.

Recruiting Contractors

Our contractors are deemed Independent Contractors, ie they are not employers of ITO Resources, or of our Clients. Their contracts are usually project specific and for a specified length of time. There are several models of recruiting and employing the services of contract workers:

We recruit a suitable candidate for a contract, anything from 1 month to 2 years. Then:

  1. We pay the contractor at month-end, add our markup and send our client an invoice at month-end, for the duration of the contract
  2. The employee can go on the employers payroll, and the employers pays us a once off recruitment fee as if it was a permanent placement, or pro-rata for the length of the contract.
  3. The employee can go on the employers’ payroll, and the employers can pay us just the markup, every month

A contract can be at a fixed rate per month, or it can be at an hourly rate, the employer usually decides which best suits their contract or project at hand. If a contract is at an hourly rate then the employee has to complete a time sheet every month, have it signed by the person they report to, and we only pay the employee’s salary on receipt of a signed timesheet.

In accordance with labour regulations we deduct pay as you earn from all contractors on behalf of the Receiver of Revenue and we present contractors with an IRP5 at the end of the financial year
