Front-end Developer (Ref:Dani-DevFront)

Skills Required:

• 3+ years experience in front-end web design and development using (X)Html, CSS and Javascript.
• Extensive experience creating Html and CSS for cross browser support using  tableless layouts.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) or similar
• Experience designing websites that meet Web Accessibility Initiative guidelines

Advantageous:

• HTML5, CSS3
• Understanding of the concept of progressive enhancement and responsive web design

• Understanding of SEO
• Experience in Flash integration
• Familiarity with ASP.NET

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Front-end design and development

• Based on discussions with the Development Manager and Designers, design/create HTML/CSS according to web standards.
• Key to this is a good eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the semantic HTML/CSS, cross browser support, tableless layouts and web accessibility.

3.  Product/Browser testing

• Ensure compliance of final product with designer specifications through regular reviews with designated design and development groups.
• Product testing according to benchmarks identified in the design plan.
• This includes testing functionality on all the latest browsers as well as IE6.

4.  Maintenance/support

• Review and act on browser specific differences/bugs
