Description: Deadline driven, innovative and passionate developer needed. Candidate must have a strong sense of good coding practice and the ability to work individually, as well as within a team. He / She should be prepared to contribute intellectually by being up to date on latest technology and products. Use of PHP frameworks advantageous as is use of JavaScript frameworks and the ability to work comfortably with front end code (XHTML and CSS) Main Purpose: Develop front end and back end systems for the our department. Will be developing web sites and web site features for existing sites for desktop and mobile platforms. Outputs: • Stable Code • Documentation • Testing Skills required: • Strong development skills using PHP and/or ASP.net and MySQL • Understanding of XHTML strict and pure CSS • Knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax and other Web2.0 technologies • OOP experience and problem solving skills a must • Ability to work with XML and XSL • Some level of Linux OS Knowledge • Experience with SOAP or Rest • Understanding of SEO • (Nice to have) Python, Java or C# development • (Nice to have) Bash Scripting
