Who we are

Philip is a member of the Computer Society of SA. He holds a B.Comm Hons. Information Systems and has more than a decade of experience in software development. He is passionate about IT and business and is fascinated about the convergence of the two. He enjoys empowering people to reach their potential, and spends many hours convincing employers to see beyond the obvious in candidate. When not busy in the ITO engine room, he is most likely to be surfing, surf-skiing, jogging or scaling a mountain peak in Cape Town. In between he also finds time to spend with family.

Dani grew up and studied in Bloemfontein. During his studies (B.Admin) he was employed at the Freestate government in the Human Resources department. In the early 90’s he decided that South Africa’s big apple (Johannesburg) seemed far more challenging and he relocated to start a career in the IT and GSM industries. Technology is his passion and hands-on IT seemed like a logical long term career choice at the time. He ended up in a junior management role but in the early 2000’s he relocated to Cape Town to explore own business opportunities and quality of life. Understandable! In 2004 he was over the moon with joy to find employment at ITO. Doing IT recruitment is the perfect mix for him between HR and IT. Dani is still a techie at heart but it is extremely rewarding for him when he manages to help great candidates to find excellent career opportunities and his hands-on IT skills is a big help in the IT candidate sourcing process. He is loyal and passionate but also believes that anything is possible, hard work never killed anyone. His hobbies include fine art, bonsai and astronomy.

After studying for his IMM and working in the marketing and sales department of a medium sized corporate specialising in electronics in South Africa, David decided to quit surfing for a while and go abroad to work, travel and embrace life and other cultures for 10 years. Working as a Business Analyst and Financial Controller based in and around London, he found that being the bridge between IT and Finance was where he enjoyed being and spent several years with companies like GlaxoSmithKline, British Airways, Habitat, O2 and Capital Corporation, whilst visiting numerous continents and countries. He´s a passionate person who loves what he does and being analytical, loves to find out how things work and what makes people tick. With these attributes he found that helping people find the right career and profession really gave him satisfaction, and will go to the ends of the earth to help people find a great role and realise their dreams.

There is only one word, that ultimately describes this individual...  ‘energy’!

She thinks big, talks big, and is generally just is …. big.

After spending 5 years in the Advertising industry, Nat decided to pursue her passion for people in the recruitment industry, and this is where she has stayed.

With 4 years in recruitment, working with corporate giants and big key clients, she has decided to link the gap to start our very own ‘ITO Digital Marketing division’.

If you’re a developer, designer, digital project manager, account manager, content manager, or social media expert, Nats is the lady to want to talk to. When she’s not working, you’ll either find her in the gym, running on the promenade, or networking, networking, networking.
