History
After 10 thoroughly enjoyable years of developing software in corporate retail environments, Philip Rubin founded IT Outsource in 1997. He is a member of the Computer Society of SA, studied a Computer Science Diploma, a B.Com degree specialising in Information Systems and Industrial Psychology, and then a Honours in IS at UCT (highly recommended!).
Given his IT background, he developed a software package to run IT Outsource (ITO), aptly named Agency Enable, which he brought to the market 3 years later in 2000. The software organises and stores all ITO’s candidate and client data, manages the workflow of the business, and most importantly has the ability to intelligently search and match candidates to clients.
In the 3rd quarter of 2009 ITO decided to reinvent itself. The company was re-branded, new staff were hand-picked, and great strides were made in getting closer to clients, getting to meet them, gaining an understanding of their business and unique culture. For good measure the company was also renamed, sort of. It reverted to its registered name of ITO Resources. Oh, and this brand new web site was developed. About time too some would say. In fact they did.
